How an Instructor can enter time duration in attendance and export data to the excel Report:
The instructor can add the time to the system according to the activities he/she is performing. In the Attendance section, the instructor can only view those activities which he is working on with all the cases under it. In the attendance function, the hours are added by the instructor themselves and also he/she is the one who can add hours for the cases.
1. Click on the Attendance icon on the left navigation panel. It will take you to the Attendance main page.
2. At the top of the taskbar, you can filter the attendance to show the details in the grid.
3. Here you will find all column headings;
- Name: In this column you will find all the topics assigned to the Activity [Subject] and the students [Cases] who are enrolled in those subjects.
- Attendance: In this column, you will find the hours Case [Student] has attended each activity [Subject] accumulative.
4. Here you can see the hours an Instructor spent on each activity [Subject] on a single day. An instructor can edit the hours for him/herself and also on behalf of the case [Student]. There are 2 types of times recorders. Grey Time Recorder and Blue Time Recorder.
- Grey Time Recorder: It is read-only and out of the enrollment date range for the Activity and Instructor is not allowed to record hours for this date.
- Blue Time Recorder: It is to enter or record the hours, an Instructor spent with each Case within an Activity [Subject].
To illustrate more how the hours are added. please have a look at image 4a.
5. This is a Comment icon. You can add an attendance comment against the selected Case and it will automatically add the comments on the respective activity where the topic is created.
4a. In this Illustration we will see how an instructor can enter hours on an activity [Subject]. Simply click on the blue time recorder button, fill in the time instructor spent on the activity [Subject] and click on the blue tick. The time will be recorded and you will notice the time under Attendance as accumulated.
6. Export the Excel Report:
Click on Excel Report, it will generate the weekly view report for the selected date range and exported file is named as the current date.
