QR Codes provide a fast and reliable way to access product information and record inventory activity. By scanning a QR Code, you can quickly identify an item and perform actions such as distributing products or updating inventory without manual data entry.
QR Code Overview
QR Codes are typically attached to physical products or packaging. When scanned using a compatible QR Code scanner or mobile device, the system instantly retrieves the associated item record.
To use a QR Code:
- Select the Inventory Module in the left navigation bar.
- Click the QR Code option button highlighted above.
- Scan the QR Code on the product using a supported scanner or mobile device.
- The system automatically opens the corresponding product record or form.
- Enter any required information, such as quantity distributed.
- Submit the form to save the update.
Once submitted, inventory levels are updated immediately and reflected in real time on your dashboard.
