Prerequisite:
The user making changes through Street Admin must have administrator permission.
Note: These settings changes affect all users. For instance, hiding a column in either the Client Detail or Client Management Detail tabs in Street Admin will hide that column for all users.
Overview
PlanStreet provides an array of default column (field name) options, providing you with the opportunity to effectively tailor your case grid to showcase the most relevant information to your organization. However, the challenge arises from various organizations with unique requirements and priorities regarding the types of information they need to display on the case grid. This variability often necessitates a customized approach to ensure that each organization can visualize the data that matters most to them.
How to Hide Columns on the Case Grid
To customize your case grid, follow the steps below to hide unnecessary columns and show only the information relevant to your organization.
1) Open Street Admin by selecting the green cog in the upper right-hand corner of your screen, as illustrated below.
2) Select the Client Intake category from the Street Admin screen highlighted below.
3) When the Client Intake screen opens, you will be presented with a list of Field Names under the Client Details tab (screenshot 3.1). The same is true for the Client Management Details tab (screenshot 3.2). Each of these Field Names are represented as columns on the case grid. Moreover, you’ll notice that some of the checkboxes are greyed out. This is by design, as these are fundamental fields required to build a case file. However, most of the Field Names are not greyed out and are subject to either being checked or unchecked. See the following screenshot.

4) Uncheck Any Field Names you do not want to appear in your case grid. For this example, we’ll use Category, Donor, and Case Programs under the Case Management Details tab. If these Field Names are checked, as demonstrated in screenshot 4.1, they will appear in your case grid, as demonstrated in screenshot 4.2.

5) If Category, Donor, and Case Programs are unchecked (see screenshot 5.1), they will no longer appear on the case grid (see screenshot 5.2).
