How to enable "Hide Case Board" for users who may be restricted from accessing individual case boards due to their roles.
Prerequisite:
The "Hide Case Board" feature is a role-based configuration that can only be modified by users with administrator-level access. Specifically, individuals entrusted with system configurations are authorized to change this setting.
Steps:
1. To hide the case board for a particular role, an administrative user can:
a. Select the cog in the upper right corner of the PlanStreet Window
b. Select the "Roles" (icon) option
c. Select "Search" and type in "case board" to reduce the number of options displayed
d. Check (by selecting) the "Hide Case Board" box as illustrated below:
2. Once the user has checked the box, it's important to remember to select 'Save' at the bottom right corner of the screen, as demonstrated below:
Once the mentioned steps are completed and the configuration change is saved, individuals assigned to the role will no longer have access to case boards.
